Terms of Service

Gadget Rescues provides electronic diagnostics and repair services from Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

E-Cycle repair and servicing is currently available through local drop-off in Hyderabad only.

Electronics repair, including Bluetooth speakers, power banks, EV controllers, battery-powered gadgets, PCB-level diagnostics and custom hardware work, is available across India through mail-in / courier service.

Each device is assessed individually. We do not claim or guarantee that every device can be repaired.

A diagnostic deposit of ₹200 is payable after your repair request is registered and before the workshop shipping address is shared.

The diagnostic deposit is non-refundable. It covers the diagnostic assessment of your device regardless of the diagnostic outcome.

Payments are verified manually by Gadget Rescues personnel. A payment is not treated as confirmed until it has been verified by our team.

After diagnosis we explain the fault and provide a repair estimate.

No paid repair work beyond diagnosis is carried out without your approval of the estimate.

If you decline the estimate, the device is prepared for return and return shipping fees apply.

If the device cannot be diagnosed and repaired at the component level, no additional component repair fee will be charged beyond the applicable diagnostic deposit and logistics costs described in these Terms.

This does not make the diagnostic deposit refundable, and it does not cover courier, packaging or return shipping costs.

Safe packaging is the customer's responsibility. Inadequate packaging may contribute to damage during transit.

Inbound shipping costs and risk of loss or damage in transit to our workshop are borne by the customer, subject to the customer's arrangement with their courier.

Return shipping fees are payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Battery-powered devices can present safety risks during transport. Customers must comply with applicable courier and transportation rules and must not ship swollen, leaking, punctured, overheated or otherwise hazardous batteries without contacting Gadget Rescues first.

Gadget Rescues never generates courier tracking numbers. Courier tracking numbers are issued by the courier company.

If the product is damaged during shipping, Gadget Rescues is not responsible for transit damage unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.

Please photograph the device before packaging and the packaging before dispatch, use appropriate protective packaging, and keep your courier and shipping documentation.

The upload system may be used only to upload photographs of the device, photographs of its existing physical damage, and legitimate repair-related media requested by Gadget Rescues.

Customers must not upload nudity, sexually explicit or pornographic material, unrelated personal photographs, illegal content, abusive content, malicious files, content belonging to another person without authorisation, or any material unrelated to the repair service.

Uploads are checked for file type, file format, file size and the permitted number of files. No automated check can identify every prohibited file with complete accuracy, so uploads may also be reviewed manually.

Violations may result in rejection or removal of the content, restriction of service, preservation of relevant evidence where legally required, and reporting to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by applicable Indian law.

Customers must declare existing damage when submitting a repair request. We may record device condition on arrival through photographs or video.

Customers are responsible for backing up any data on the device. Gadget Rescues is not responsible for data loss arising from diagnosis or repair.

Please remove memory cards, SIM cards and personal accessories before shipping where possible.

Any applicable warranty is limited to the specific repair performed and the specific components replaced, as communicated to you.

Warranty does not cover unrelated faults, subsequent physical or liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised or third-party interference, batteries beyond their normal service life, or normal wear and tear.

Warranty is void where the device has been opened, modified or serviced by another party after our repair.

Devices must be collected or return shipping arranged within a reasonable period after we notify you that the device is ready.

We will make reasonable attempts to contact you. Extended non-response may result in storage charges or disposal in accordance with applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gadget Rescues' total liability in connection with a repair is limited to the fees paid for that repair.

Gadget Rescues is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of use, loss of data or loss of profits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction.

Gadget Rescues welcomes genuine customer feedback, including positive, neutral and negative experiences.

Reviews are submitted with a rating from 1 to 5 stars and are published only after moderation. Reviews may be moderated when they contain prohibited content such as spam, advertising unrelated to Gadget Rescues, malicious links, impersonation, threats, harassment, abusive content, obscene or sexually explicit content, personal or sensitive private information, illegal content, content unrelated to the customer's service experience, or clearly fabricated submissions.

Genuine criticism is not removed simply because it is negative, and a review is not rejected because of a low star rating.

Please do not include contact details, addresses, Service IDs or private repair information in a review. Where a review appears to be unlawful or clearly fabricated, Gadget Rescues may decline to publish it or may remove it, and may take further steps available under applicable law.

Overall ratings and review counts shown on the website are calculated from the reviews actually stored in our system.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The applicable version at the time of your repair request is recorded with your consent record.
